The Chillicothe Field Day will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 17, at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research Station at Chillicothe, 1340 FM 392, Chillicothe, TX 79225.
The event is hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Texas A&M AgriLife Research, with speakers and collaborators from Lubbock, Stephenville, College Station and Oklahoma State University.
Presentations will cover cotton, peanut, cowpea, guar, perennial cool-season forages and wheat varieties suited for the Texas Rolling Plains, along with AgriLife Research updates and AgriLife Extension outreach materials. Participants can earn three general Texas Department of Agriculture pesticide applicator continuing education units.
